65 years after 1948, when the first VENETIS store opened its doors in Kifisia, the VENETIS company is once again making a difference in the northern suburbs with a new concept of stores, VENETIS 1948.

The two premium VENETIS 1948 stores, among the best of their kind in Europe, are located at 110 Tatoiu Street – the first VENETIS bakery that now takes on a new, pioneering identity – and at 320 Kifisias Avenue in Kifisia, a brand-new store.

VENETIS 1948, the new generation of premium VENETIS stores, starts from Kifisia and will expand to strictly selected locations. The new concept features the baking of bakery products in open wood-fired ovens and a wide range of bakery products. Beyond their high aesthetics, the new stores offer, at competitive prices, comprehensive proposals that cover the consumer’s needs throughout the day, such as a full breakfast, rich coffee varieties, famous French and Italian pastries, with the CHRISTIANO V series standing out, as well as homemade food from Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, with the signature of the distinguished chef Mr. Giannis Tzelepis.


Inspired, select bakers choose the purest, natural, primary materials and revive the wood-fired ovens, despite their high operating costs, creating the top bakery products in the country.

At the same time, they create daily a unique variety of bakery products based on recipes from every region of Greece, Europe, and from every corner of the world. Among other things, at VENETIS 1948, one finds rustic, Greek, Monastic, Byzantine, Genoese, Pavé, and Viennese bakery products. Apart from the distinct bakery products, the new stores offer authentic Italian pizza, peinirli, a special variety of handmade, traditional Greek pies, as well as cookies, croissants, brioche, Viennese, and cakes.


A team of famous Greek chefs led by Giannis Tzelepis creates unique daily dishes from the purest and freshest produce of the Greek land. At VENETIS 1948, one finds truly homemade food with the traditional recipes of Greek and Mediterranean cuisine.


Inspired creators present a series of proposals, highly refined, based on the quality of French and the finesse of Italian pastry.

With high aesthetics and environmental respect

High aesthetics dominate at VENETIS 1948.From store design to staff uniforms, all creations of a renowned designer. For their construction, natural materials such as wood, stone, and steel were used, while their minimalist design is characterized by elements of traditional architecture. Warm, earthy, ecologically sourced colors prevail, respecting both people and the environment.

Croissant was used to cover the external and internal walls, a natural, ancient material also used in Hagia Sophia in Constantinople.
